Guest stsss8
Carrie ? I think it's "The Rage: Carrie 2." Haven't seen it, but I've read there is a suicide in the film, and I know there wasn't one in the first or the remake. Sounds like it, I suppose? I couldnt remember a suicide in the first one either, but its been ages since i saw it. Carrie 2 could be a possibility too.

Raith Against The Machine
There's a lassie in my Business Management class who is the absolute double of Carrie. Naebody else has seen the film so they don't believe me I'm staying well clear, though!

Swarley
Black Hawk Down Amazingly it's the first time I've ever watched it ! Thought it was pretty good apart from Messrs Bremner, McGregor and Bloom's rank awful American accents 8/10
Musketeer Gripweed
I bought Scarface, Casino and Saw 2 tonight. Of course I have watched two of those before, but I cant wait to watch them again. Interestingly (or not), last month I bought the Godfather trilogy for £15 in Virgin. Today it was back up to £50! I guess my three for £20 wasn't that bad, if you are not careful in these shops these days you could pay £16 for a film that is pricetagged in the "3 for" offer elsewhere in the store. Scarface was like that. Then, after I paid for those three, I noticed Donnie Brasco was also part of the deal! Edit - Gothfather? Musketeer Gripweed
The first two are fantastic! Not seen the other, though heard it's good! Right I can give you it tomorrow as promised. To be honest, I preferred the first one, still a good movie though. Had at least three moments when I either closed my eyes or winced, not as many as the original but still far better than any horror (is it a horror movie? ) has for a long time! I fucking hate needles!!!
Musketeer Gripweed
Me again. Is no-one else watching movies at the moment? Just finished watching Scarface. 9/10. It only loses one mark because I forgot Giorgio Moroder did the the soundtrack to this movie. I normally like his stuff, but in Scarface, it just does not fit the film at all.
Colin M
Went to see A Scanner Darkly last night. Based on the novel by Philip K Dick (which I haven't read), it depicts a futuristic America which has lost the war on drugs. Keanu Reeves plays an undercover cop who is also a junkie, and as a result has a double personality. It's filmed in a strange way, in that it's made to look like an animation, which can be a bit disconcerting. There are decent performances from Robert Downey Jr and Woody Harrelson as Reeves' junkie pals, and overall it's pretty intense and a bit of a headfuck. That said, even in animated form Keanu can't act. I'd give it 7/10.
KiwiDB
Went to see You, Me and Dupree last night. Typical Owen Wilson but very funny and actually has a reasonable plot 8/10 Think it was last weekend I saw My Super Ex-Girlfriend Not too bad 6/10
bluetooner
Jarhead 6/10 Almost identical story to Full Metal jacket only set in the first Iraq War and less of the training. Nowhere near as good a film however. Funniest part was when they started to watch a Porn, all excited until one realised it was his neighbour and his wife
