Guest Hampden Ton
3) David Strathairn ... underused actor of the highest quality. The man is terrific to watch whenever you happen to see him. His performance in Ultimatum is actually one of his best IMO. I agree - actor of the highest quality, although I'd say his performance in 'Good Night and Good Luck' is still his best.
SaltyTON
Salty, Salty, Salty...The forum's resident horror fan and you have issues with The Exorcist and The Wicker Man B) Not a patch on Deathslayer 8 or Goremaster 3? Wicker Man isn't a horror.

KnightswoodBear
I doubt you'll need it. You're a *** so you're probably about 40 stone and covered in tattoos..... That's not very nice. 11st and not a tattoo on me.
KnightswoodBear
The Quiet Man is easily in my top 20 all time movies. My dads family is originally from round about where it was filmed. And it's got John Wayne stopping mid scrap for a pint. Perfect
uberman
Wicker Man isn't a horror. I agree. The Big Lebowski is easily a 9/10 though
SaltyTON
I'll be there and all.Saltyton, have you actually watched any of these films? of course wicker man is awful, not a horror, okay as a religious drama 6 exorcist is good, just full of needless filler 8 big lebowski i didn't find remotely funny, i don't find comedy funny, i have really sick sense of humour, horror is funnier. 3 looking thru my IMDB 'my movies' the ratings i gave were those in bold.... last film i watched this afternoon was 'from dusk til dawn 2: texas blood money' 7
SaltyTON
was funny, would have been a 4 but Danny Trejo gains any film 3 points.
Gaz
I went to see "Breach" this evening, based on the true story of FBI agent Eric O'Neill's work in helping convict his superior Robert Hanssen of espionage and sexual deviency. Very enjoyable and a great performance from Chris Cooper. 8/10.
Diamond Gord
Watched David Lynch's Inland Empire the other night. It looked and sounded good as all Lynch stuff does, the plot, however, was even less coherent than his other films. It was still enjoyable and still has me thinking about it. 8/10

uberman
District 13 - 8/10 French free running action film, quite good stunts and fight scenes. The back cover described it as Ong-Bak meets Escape from New York and I'd agree with that.
