the snudge
All the best to Gilhaney. It's not often you get a player who sticks around a part time club for as long as he has. Good player and will probably end up at Clyde
Jan Vojáček
Sad to see Gilhaney go. Whilst he might not be as effective in an attacking sense as he was in his earlier days his work rate and attitude on the pitch are second to none. He's been a great servant to the club and almost an ever present in our rise from staying up at Livi in 2011 to last years 5th place finish. Looking forward to seeing who we bring in, reckon we could start to see a bit of player news in the next few days.
DumbartonTheSons
Gilhaney being released is a shame on one hand because he's been a good servant to the club over his time, and his work-rate was second to none. That said, the team as a whole had probably become a bit stale, so freshening it up should work well for both parties. Like others, I'm excited to see who Aitken brings in and how he's going to set his team out for the season ahead.

Kyle
Aitken doesn't hang about. You've signed Gregor Buchanan this morning.
Thommo90
No even in the job 24 hours and he's brought in a new player who wasn't even at this old club. I like it.
Jan Vojáček
Pleased with that, thought he would've been a decent signing when Airdrie went down a few years back. Welcome to the Aitken Revolution Gregor!
George Parr
Positive news although the photo on the offish website just looks bizarre. Aitken's tiny.
Bring Back Paddy Flannery
Positive news although the photo on the offish website just looks bizarre. Aitken's tiny. Buchanan is huge to be fair. 6ft 4 or something. Welcome Gregor!

The Moonster
No pissing around from oor Stevie. Good stuff. If Mitchell comes with him and Agnew and Chase sign up we'll have a decent spine to a team there. Francesc Fabregas
Dang, that's two pretty good signings. Grant Gallagher was one of the best midfielders in League 1 last season and although Gregor Buchanan was pulled into the rest of the slop at Dunfermline, he's a pretty good defender. Very vocal, good organiser. Big lad too. Thought he'd go to someone like Morton or Raith Rovers to be honest. Impressive stuff so far from Aitken.
Bring Back Paddy Flannery
Wee Stee certainly not wasting any time. Come all ye faithful.
Jan Vojáček
I'm pleased to announce Grant Gallagher has officially hit the big time, he now has a Wikipedia page. That's what signing for a team like us does to your reputation #BigTeam #BigTime #WeeStee https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grant_Gallagher
Kyle
Appreciate they're the first two signings, but is anyone from the current squad signed up? Two very good signings on paper. 1 day in the job, two signings already. Edited May 28, 2015 by Kyle

Two very good signings on paper. 1 day in the job, two signings already. Erm...Keir Whitefield (youth team graduate) is...I think. Andy Graham, Jamie Ewings and Scott Agnew agreed to terms but that was before Murray left and a contract was never actually signed. So in summary, no' really no
The Moonster
The "First team 2015/16" page on the website has Ewings Agnew and Graham all as signed players, along with the two signed today. Hopefully we'll get official announcement on them soon.
