Well we have Angus Robertson on QT or Nicola beasting Michael Moore a couple of weeks back. The truth is, the quality of politician actually matters not all that much. Better than the Tories are doing down south, and managing not to bankrupt the place like Labour did. I suppose the Lib Dems could run Scotland, but no doubt they sell out everything they stand for a little extra like they did 3 years ago. If Scotland do dive into the unknown, the SNP will likely cease to exist and will fragment into different parties. Doubt we'll see much more of Salmond as well. No chance is Alex Salmond getting in once the referendum is done. He might get a transitional government for the first years, but come the first election, he's gone! You just have to look at his appearance on Question Time before the last Scottish Parliament elections. He made absolute mincemeat out of these senior Westminster politicians and was roundly applauded by the English audience in Liverpool.
