Thatcher deid

Recommended Posts

Her failure to give a f**k for those at the bottom is and was completely unforgiveable. However, after being able to draw such vitriolic responses from amoral cuntards like Gorgeous George and Gerry Adams, i'm thinking she must have got at least two things right.

Grenada. The Falklands.

They have been frequently described as "ideological soulmates" and shared very similar worldviews regarding to the Soviets, The two examples were sort of half hearted criticism and the US was more initial reluctance but but they had the closest special relationship IMO, she called him "the second most important man in my life." Trident was introduced thanks to the relationship and Thatcher was by far his closest international Ally.

Glen Greenwald (Assangenik) as usual in the Guardian elsewhere deliberately misses the point. Criticism of her, her politics and her premiership = completely legitimate. Talking about holding parties, dancing on her grave and celebrating that "the witch is dead" = gratuitously offensive, every bit as inhumane as they claim her politics was and ultimately completely unnecessary.

He doesn't support those things though?

I think that having people celebrate your death and dance on your grave is simply a consequence of not giving a f**k about those people lives whilst you were alive.

You reap what you sow.

I'm not personally celebrating her death, in the end she has long since left the political stage and was simply living out her days. She destroyed a lot of people when she was alive, I am more disgusted at her opposition to Gay rights and feminist movements and her support of apartheid, as much as her economic policies for the country.

She cared about few sections of society and didn't care about what happened to the majority of people in Britain, that isn't what I would consider a good Prime Minister.

Lord Morrissey of Miseryland has faxed his official statement:

"Thatcher is remembered as The Iron Lady only because she possessed completely negative traits such as persistent stubbornness and a determined refusal to listen to others.

Every move she made was charged by negativity; she destroyed the British manufacturing industry, she hated the miners, she hated the arts, she hated the Irish Freedom Fighters and allowed them to die, she hated the English poor and did nothing at all to help them, she hated Greenpeace and environmental protectionists, she was the only European political leader who opposed a ban on the Ivory Trade, she had no wit and no warmth and even her own Cabinet booted her out.

She gave the order to blow up The Belgrano even though it was outside of the Malvinas Exclusion Zone - and was sailing AWAY from the islands.

When the young Argentinean boys aboard The Belgrano had suffered a most appalling and unjust death, Thatcher gave the thumbs up sign for the British press. Iron? No. Barbaric? Yes.

She hated feminists even though it was largely due to the progression of the women's movement that the British people allowed themselves to accept that a Prime Minister could actually be female. But because of Thatcher, there will never again be another woman in power in British politics, and rather than opening that particular door for other women, she closed it.

Thatcher will only be fondly remembered by sentimentalists who did not suffer under her leadership, but the majority of British working people have forgotten her already, and the people of Argentina will be celebrating her death.

As a matter of recorded fact, Thatcher was a terror without an atom of humanity."

Fair play lad.

^this.

Just ignoring the economic and social policies for a bit, this is a woman who was friends with Pinochet and Suharto, supported the Khmer Rouge, opposed the ANC and supported the racist Apartheid regime, presided over the introduction of the homophobic Section 28 and hated feminism.

The social and economic policies are just the icing on the cake of reasons to loathe her.

Factually incorrect.

A society which (metaphorically) dances on anyone's grave, glorifying the death of another human being, be it Thatcher, in a street party in George Square, or Bin Laden or anyone else has lost the very human empathy and decency that her detractors accuse her of having lacked in her policies towards the unemployed people you describe.

I re-iterate: the greatest riposte to inhumanity is to display the traits of the temperate and compassionate society. Shouting "ding dong the witch is dead" does the precise opposite.
