Can't understand why you signed Oyenuga, he done literally nothing at any level whilst with us

McNamara maybe thought this is like a big game of FIFA and if you sign fast players you can win games. Kudus looks rapid, but he also looks shit. Amazed we gave him such a long contract.

Regardless of what he was thinking about pace etc. surely he already had enough strikers

Actually no. At the point that Oyenuga signed we had Brian Graham and ... maybe Goodie on loan? Don't think Ciftci had signed at that point and he's the only striker at the club who can really hold his own. Graham is an option to have off the bench when all else has failed and the only answer is to launch balls at the box but otherwise it's just Ciftci.

I've no particular problem with the Oyenuga signing. He'll be on a tiny wage and is clearly just a wee punt. If he develops, fine, if not then no big deal. I don't think he was signed for this year's first team anyway given that he's had a grand total of about six minutes all season.

Yeah seem to remember an article about it

Fair enough I dont think it was actually JMc

No, I don't think it was McNamara either. The fact it starts "By SG Milne" probably gives the game away.

There's a petition online which will be sent to Dundee United and St Johnstone football clubs. It's to ask that there should be some form of recognition for Ian Redford, who played for both clubs, and who died in January.

There had been a minute's applause scheduled for the match between these two teams at the end of January, but if was called off due to adverse weather, so Neither United fans nor Saints fans have had the chance to show their appreciation of this fantastic player.

The petition is on change.org

Curtis Good is injured again by the looks of things, sent back to Newcastle for scans. Wouldn't be surprised if that is him done for the season and out of the final. Wonder if it might actually be a blessing in disguise and it might mean he can come back again next season? Disappointed he is out again, he looked to be a the kind of defender we needed, a mixture of Gunning and Souttar in terms of a balance between strength and composure.
