I believe he was probably looking to keep senior players fresh for Sunday rather than drop them for their poor form. Maybe not Turnbull. He is a player who will get in sooner or later. I dont know about Soro. Hazard is absolutely average though. Brown could possibly still have a role to play in certain games, but he’s certainly not needed in games against your St. Mirrens or Ross County’s. McGregor didn’t even have a particularly good game against Lille, but his positioning brought the Celtic team 10 or 15 yards up the pitch. Brown drops back to take the ball off the centre backs and that in turn pulls the other midfielders back to take the ball from Brown. Turnbull should be a regular imo, he’s an excellent player who can win the ball high up the pitch and has the quality to find a pass to start an attack.
