Anyone else find it mind boggling that Einstein, over 100 years ago, was able to predict the behaviour of light in relation to gravity without the tools we have today, just using pure mathematics?

Yep.

That’s the photo of the decade for sure.

Not convinced he did tbh.

Emperors new clothes if you ask me.

You can only understand it if you are really clever? Sure, good one mate.

On other news Falcon Heavy is meant to be launching some big satellite into space tonight about 11.30, and attempting to land the side boosters on land and the central core of the first stage at sea on the drone ship "Of course I still love you.". Livestream on SpaceX.com.

High winds moved it to 1am earliest, 1.38 latest or it will be postponed, till tomorrow I think.

P.S. Tomorrow it is.

I think similar every time I see the Forth (Rail) Bridge. Incredible structure with segments that joined up with inch-perfect accuracy.

Would have been quite funny had the three main structures been a metre or ten out of place though.

We’re all moving at 1000mph m8.

you sure about that, m87 ?

Just remember that you're standing on a planet that's evolving
And revolving at 900 miles an hour.
It's orbiting at 19 miles a second, so it's reckoned,
The sun that is the source of all our power.
Now the sun, and you and me, and all the stars that we can see,
Are moving at a million miles a day,
In the outer spiral arm, at 40, 000 miles an hour,
Of a galaxy we call the Milky Way.
