The last wild owl I saw was a barn owl January/February time up near Gifford. It was hovering by the path we were walking down, early afternoon. It was snowy weather I guess. I should expand and say it was something called a ruined pub. Look it up, we went to three last night. Truely magnificent places and cheap to boot, not to mention high quality beer once again. However my reason to be cheerful is, that after 4 hours sleep, I'm feeling pretty good, but one of my mates is a state and faces a 5 hour train journey in under an hour.
