To be fair I had to sink £1200 into the truck to keep it on the road two years ago, needed new leaf springs and all that guff, brake pipes were corroded and some shock absorbers were goosed too. I've had a mondeo, a Granada Scorpio (many moons ago), and escort and id say they've been the most reliable cars I've had other than my Opel Astra which was a great car too.
