blanco
Disappointingly not Dundee this time. BLINDFOLDED WOMAN’S DISBELIEF OVER ALLEGATION THAT ‘BOYFRIEND WAS FEMALE’ http://www.eveningtelegraph.co.uk/2015/09/08/blindfolded-womans-disbelief-over-allegation-that-boyfriend-was-female/ Apparently they used to watch tv together and even went sunbathing in a garden whilst still wearing the blindfold. I'll be keeping track of this in the hope of more gems being disclosed.
Cardinal Richelieu
My neighbours had their Christmas decorations up on the 6th January this year. It gets earlier every year.
Zen Archer (Raconteur)
Primary children have been left shaken after their teacher accidentally streamed a shocking video through the internet, The Courier can reveal. An entire class viewed the “inappropriate” content at Forthill Primary School in Broughty Ferry, with a number having to be comforted after the incident. http://www.thecourier.co.uk/news/local/dundee/entire-class-shown-inappropriate-video-at-broughty-ferry-primary-school-1.899627 So what was it? Nouveau riche Dundonians purchasing ostentatious timepieces imo.
Zen Archer (Raconteur)
Masonic conspiracy? A panel from the Great Tapestry of Scotland has been stolen while on display in Fife. Fife Cultural Trust said the section, which depicts the story of Rosslyn Chapel, was taken from Kirkcaldy Galleries at about 10am on Thursday. http://www.thecourier.co.uk/news/local/fife/great-tapestry-of-scotland-panel-stolen-during-kirkcaldy-display-1.899570

Hedgecutter
Inverness man jailed after throwing axe at wall: A man who wielded an axe in Rose Street car park, Inverness, was jailed for two years when he appeared from custody at Inverness Sheriff Court this morning. Jonathan Hanvidge (26), described as a prisoner in Inverness and formerly of Cale House, Millburn Road, Inverness, had been seen in the car park on June 18, at 1.30am, holding an axe. Depute Fiscal Laura Ryan told Sheriff David Sutherland the witnesses observed him holding the axe in his hand and he appeared “to be angry and frustrated. He threw the axe at a wall and continued walking along the car park.” Mr Nicol said Hanvidge went out and got drunk and didn’t remember how he came to be in possession of the axe. Hanvidge was jailed for three years in 2012 at Glasgow Sheriff Court for assault to severe injury and robbing someone with a knife. He also had a previous conviction for possession of offensive weapons. Sheriff Sutherland said custody was inevitable given the nature of the offence and his previous convictions.
