Well things are hotting up in the Premier League...Arabdownunder is chasing his 2nd title, and down at the bottom, BWV and Edmund have one quiz to save their bacon before the Winter Shutdown.

Down below, bad weather has caused a lot of cancelled games. Concerns are mounting for G_Man, who posted a very respectable 6 on Monday, then vanished off the face of the planet. Meanwhile, Jagfox and BigBo practically have promotion in the bag, although it's open season on the play off place.

I know Swarley is en voyage, but I kept him in anyway just so nobody has to finish last!

My 6/10 from yesterday isn't on there. Can you add my 5/10 from today while you're at it, thank you very much.

Lost the cloud quiz but if you don;t go with Welshbairn's suggestion then this. In the Scotland v Australia WC Paly-off games in 1985 there were 3 Scottish born Socceroos. 2 of them were on the books of both Dundee United and Forfar Athletic before emigrating. The other was playing for a now defunct Scottish club at the time. Name at least 2 of the 3.

Hmmm general knowledge. Rather then PM you I'll state here that I haven't a clue about any of them. @supermik if you can get any then the tie is yours.

In my mind yesterday was the last quiz of the week. I should get an extra point off for not knowing what day it is.

I'm still fucked, either way!

You're not in my division, so I don't think that would be very fair. However, had you have been in my division, I would have seconded that proposal.

Strewth, both youse and Supermik must have a few roos loose in the top paddock not knowing the answer to such a bonzer question. Everybody should know that the DUFC/FAFC connection was Joe Watson (born somewhere near Methil/Leven basing this on fact he went to Kirkland High) and played in 1st team for both plus Kenny Murphy (born Dundee) who didn't manage any official 1st Team games and Dave Mitchell (born Glasgow but brought up in Adelaide) who played for the team that no longer exists. Another Scot, Robbie Dunn (born Paisley) came on as a sub in 2nd half of 1st leg.

Without having any authority Welshbairn's speed of whatever question is the new tie-break question so PM him, but only if you haven't already Googled it.

I deleted it in favour of yours as various time paradoxes would have led to disputes that could have torn the thread apart. I'm far too hungover to come up with another one.

Here's another one. Who am I? Went to Ayr Academy, one of Dundee's 1961/62 Scottish League Division One Championship and 1962/63 European Cup Semi-Finalist squads and apart from also playing for Scotland and the Scottish League played for 2 English teams who played in red and white then finished up 3 games closer to his birth place who played in the same colours as his home town team.

I think a numbers question would prob work better. We could be here a while if we both keep getting it right (unlikely) or both keep getting it wrong (vvvvvv likely). As for this one, again, I haven't a clue.

Ure sure about that?

If supermik doesn't know either I've thought of a way of phrasing my question that won't risk fracturing the space/time continuum.

Ian Ure was the answer so Welshbairn please phrase your question that so one of them will lose.

From the perspective of somebody on a space ship travelling as close to the speed of light as makes no difference, how long would it take to go from Earth to the centre of the Galaxy?

P.S. The ship would already be travelling at near light speed as it passes Earth and will not slow down as it approaches the centre of the Galaxy.
