I've spent the last 5 minutes clicking on blobs of land on Googlemaps to see if I can find an Aussie island to the east of Oz. It's asking for the shortest distance so it really needs to be from coast to coast. The answer that they give is from the middle of Australia to the middle of Fiji, which just can't be right. I figured that Fiji to Brisbane was probably close enough to the shortest distance. It is a crap question!
