Silvio Tattiescone
When Molly goes to tell the Chief's wife of his death... and walks up the path with the tins of paint!! I was howling with laughter
Zen Archer (Raconteur)
Martin Freeman runs at a wall and knocks himself out, must have a glass jaw.
Satans_Husband
Surprised there isn't a thread on this. I though it was pretty good. A lot of mental stuff happened in that first episode and I enjoyed the overall feel of the show.
cracowjambo
I thought it was a bit meh.

welshbairn
I turned off after 5 minutes of Martin Freeman's character. Loved the film. Did it get better?

Boghead ranter
It's verrry slow, innit?
Gall09
Really enjoyed it. The scene with Billy Bob talking to Colin Hanks while his daughter's on the radio was chilling.
GingerSaint
Haven't watched this yet, but is there a connection with the film? Same name and setting going by the trailer. I'm confused.
lichtie23
I really enjoyed that. Billy Bob Thornton was superb. As Gall said that scene when talking too Colin Hanks was chilling but brilliantly done
tongue_tied_danny
I just watched the first episode on 4od. The cast aren't quite as charismatic as William H Macy, Frances McDormand and Steve Buscemi but it was still really good.
Mik
Watched the pilot last night, had it recorded on the planner. Excellent episode, I thought. And never a dull moment. BBT was fantastic in his role, as was Freeman. Looking forward to the next episode.
jester
Haven't watched this yet, but is there a connection with the film? Same name and setting going by the trailer. I'm confused. Finally saw it on catch up last night. It's set in a town near Fargo, which gets a few mentions throughout. I really enjoyed it, Billy Bob Thornton was on top form as the creepy guy, and Martin Freeman was convincing, both in the accent and as a downtrodden guy who can't catch a break. Looking forward to the rest of this.
Jamaldo
It's verrry slow, innit? Three people murdered in the first episode, aye it's going at a snail's pace isn't it?
Mr Sugden
Three people murdered in the first episode, aye it's going at a snail's pace isn't it? It was four - not that it would make any difference to your statement.
