RiG
I've said before, McInnes in the transfer market is not the best. Getting folk in like Shinnie on free transfers is a no brainer but he seems to be more miss than hit with his signings. Still better than John Hughes though...

Still better than John Hughes though...He’s good at identifying targets that are above what we’d normally get on our budget and selling himself and the club to them.Lewis, shinnie etc are good examples of that. You’re right though his bargain signings are normally not great. Aberdeen as a club generally have a very bad scouting network too though.

They were a decent partnership. He’s not a bad player but I don’t think he’s standard Aberdeen need to keep 2nd place.
Rodhull
Doyle wouldn’t have exactly been an exciting signing but he’s done far more than Rooney ever did down South at least. Not dissapointed at missing out on him though as at his age just like Rooney you would imagine his best is in the past.
RussellAnderson
Hard pass on Doyle. Not an upgrade on Rooney.
naegoodinthedark
Doesn’t look like we’ll get a striker in for the Burnley game. Get the feeling the club have already written this tie off.
Lyle Lanley
Thank f**k for that. Would have to change my username otherwise. Edited July 24, 2018 by Eoin Doyle
BucksburnDandy
Someone needs to go down AB24 way and give McInnes a fucking shake. Paying money for Eoin fucking Doyle. Jesus H Christ.Burnley game is a total write off from the club, which is a terrible attitude given the teams English teams have got papped out by in recent years.

Jmothecat2
Defender in on loan from Watford.
CM.
Hoban was at Blackburn on loan briefly a couple of years ago and done quite well in a shit team. Has had injury problems in the past so if he's over them and gets a good run of games it should be a good signing.

I love the way we do our transfer business these days - didn't see anyone mention Hoban I really don't understand the amount of bed wetting going on when the rumour comes from the Daily Record or the Sun! d31
This looks a good signing. Encouraged by the fact he's 24 and still on books of an EPL team. Encouraged by the fact he's in the last year of his deal so there is a chance to keep him on. Encouraged by 70 starts in the championship. Internet suggests he is right footed centre back who has filled in at left back previously. So presumably we'll play him at right back ha. Striker, winger and keeper to go now.
