I’m a St Johnstone fan mate. I’ll enjoy our 3 trophies over 7 years, you enjoy your 8000 fans at Murrayfield.

Maybe get another 3 in your next 138 years...

Hope so.

No idea how the f**k he'll understand a word out of Robsons mouth like.

I'm sure Barry played in North America so he might have picked up some of the local lingo...

How do you figure that we were “punching well above our weight” for years under McInnes?
Disagree.
NO SEVCO for years, a yo-yo, piss poor Hearts & Hibs.

Just Celtic realistically should’ve finished above us & obviously did.

OK, we finished above SEVCO 2 years in a row as they were getting their act together, but aside from that McInnes had us where we should’ve been.

Rangers 1872 and Sevco 'getting their act together' on the pitch goes hand and hand with them going dangerously in debt off of it.

If he's happy with our performances, then send him back to some franchise in the states. He may be decent but he is currently part of a bad team.

Managers pay with their jobs when they under perform to this level.

Boy needs brought up to speed with what is acceptable.

Abuse will be  heading his way if he continues to yearn for glass. It's done, he was pish. We move on as one or he can go too. Onwards and hopefully upwards.

Just a guess, but maybe we should wait and see how he reacts over the next few games.

"Sorry, but there are slight delusions of grandeur and living off the history created by Sir Alex Ferguson."

Kris Commons has questioned whether Aberdeen can still be regarded as a 'big club'

Bookies surely will have closed the betting on the British Sports Journalism award for 2022 - incredible insight from Commons.  Does he do a blog or anything so we can get more of this?

Does he write for the New York Times or The Guardian or such like or does he talk in his "speak and spell" so it can be "reported" in a weedgie comic with a smaller readership than the Aberdeen Press and Journal?

(Assuming it's the English boy that played for Celtic, I don't buy papers since the cat died, Daily Record worked ok under the cat litter)

I watched his and Kris Boyd’s Scottish league programme on BT sports, once. They were well matched in their knowledge of the game and in wit and wisdom.

here’s a still:

Not that I've seen.

On that note, seemed a bit of needle between Robson and Andrew Shinie yesterday 🤣

I listened to Shinie and MacDermid's thoughts yesterday, after obviously deciding that I wasn't already annoyed enough about goings on at Pittodrie, so needed something else to get wound up about.

I was pleased to learn that they are confident that Neil Lennon (or "Lenny", as they called him) won't be our next manager, as he would be straight on the phone to McInnes, who would presumably advise him against it. Plenty of thinly-veiled digs at Cormack too, perhaps unsurprisingly.

I’m less convinced he’ll be a good manager. I think he lacked some media skills and man management. He blamed the players for most of the failings publicly and he absolutely hung ojo out to dry at tannadice.

Not to say he can’t learn but think it’s more than just tactical naivety.

Grinding out wins is part of it but I think in too many games the opposition just did the basic stuff better than us.

I said pretty early on the defence would be what kills us this season and I think it’s proven out. I could have just about coped with us being a blunt attacking force as we learned the new style if we didn’t concede horrendous, simple, basic goals just about every week. 5 clean sheets in 40 or whatever it was is a one way route to getting sacked.

Most of your first paragraph was (and still is) said about Cathro. If Glass goes on to have half as good a coaching career as Cathro, he can be happy with himself.

I think he will go on to have a good career in football, almost certainly. I just meant specifically as a manager.

Indeed. I’m agreeing with you. I’m just pointing out that if you switched the names about it would be almost exactly like reading a post from Hearts supporters about Cathro.
