The Famous Aberdeen - Season 2022/23

My memory of Quinn was that he was incredibly vocal in the home Rijeka game. I was in the Main Stand that game (nae idea why like) and all you could hear was him constantly telling the rest of the defence where to be. I was quite impressed for someone so  new to the club to be giving out orders like that, and generally thought he was ok. The Celtic goal for us wasnt even the best goal them he scored that season, pretty sure he got the winner for County in the LC semi after he went back there! Decent player, certainly doesnt deserve to be filed under Callum Morris.

I’ve no idea why you took umbrage at someone describing him as a proven scorer in the first place. Why do you give a shit?

Because I'm a nosey gobshite, are you new here?

There's yer Cosgrove officially away now.

Cosgrove has been ace for us over the piece, but it was the right time to go, and certainly appears to be the right price. Main has offered about as much as Cosgrove this year, so were not much worse off, and if we can get in another option then we should be strengthened.

hope he fucks the championship up

Speculation amongst journalists you might get Hornby on loan, plus spend some Cosgrove money on another striker, as you're willing to make a push for 2nd...

Surprised we’re still in for Hornby, Derek must’ve skipped over your posts today

Considering my success rate with predictions it probably sealed the deal, tbh.

RG is actually making some fair points as to whether we’re signing a striker ready to hit the ground running in the next few months.

Random also said May struggled at Aberdeen because we didn't use him correctly.

He's now behind Chris Kane in the pecking order.

Cosgrove has got a bit of a hard neck comparing Birmingham favourably to Aberdeen. Birmingham are fecking shite, and have been for years. They'll be lucky not to be in League 1 next season.

Big Sam was probably a season away from becoming a joiner when we took him from Carlisle, and now he's a 2 million quid player in the Championship with the chance (even with a rotten team) to put himself for the shop window to Premiership teams. He should be thanking Aberdeen and McInnes.

Saying all that, I wish him luck and don't blame him for leaving. He's probably making a better career move than McKenna did.

I see a lot of Birmingham fans are not exactly dispelling the opinion that fans of the majority of at best average English clubs have a sense of superiority over Scottish teams for no real reason.

1 meaningful trophy since the 60s (Mcleish an Aberdeen legend gave them that) , most of those years bouncing around lower leagues and a huge mountain of debt yet Birmingham fans think they are some huge successful club 😆

He praised McInnes and the club for his development in the very same interview.

I’d take Liam Boyce

That thought had passed my mine too. Even if we get this Hornby guy, it’s a heck of a lot of pressure on a young ‘un, he needs an experienced older head alongside him.

I would have said he’s already in the house, McGinn, but he seems to be right out of the window just now
