As Chris said above, Duffy himself led us to a 6-1 defeat to Ayr two seasons ago. Barry will make mistakes; he's new to management, not least at this level - the talk of him delivering promotion this season was hopeful at best and it'll take him time to acclimatise to the requirements of this division, and the limitations of the players in it. No-one is writing him off but many of us are extremely annoyed at the way he failed to change anything and then decided to use his post-match interview to announce that the players let themselves down rather than take some responsibility himself. The Ayr game you refer to was 0-0 at half-time and Ayr scored 4 goals in the last 20-odd minutes after Duffy made some substitutions. That happen sometimes and is not remotely comparable to last night's events where we could have lost by 12 or more, and it was apparent from within 10 minutes. Fine, we give him a chance but he has some making up to do and should be admitting he got it wrong and saying he'll learn from it, not pinning the blame on the players.
