Humiliates the club on national tv then uses his interviews to deflect from his own naivety/stupidity to lay the blame on a bunch of inexperienced part-time players. very very poor stuff.

It's almost as if you're suggesting that Barry Ferguson is completely devoid of brains and class.

Extraordinary stuff.

some Clyde fans were shot down for suggesting this and were encouraged to give him a chance as he had "grown up". laughable

 Barry Ferguson. Not in the least surprised about this, considering he spent the build up to this game talking entirely about himself and how much he loved Rangers

All this talk of Ferguson trying to get thje Rangers job, who would want him?

He might have a decent footballing brain but overall he's an idiot. He has far too much of an ego to build a good team and his performances oin and off the pitch inder Paul le Guen say he thinks he's much bigger than the club anyway.

Also, he's apparently shit.

Sounds like the perfect replacement for McCoist - you'd hardly notice any difference between them.

Reminds me when we shipped 7 at Ayr a couple of seasons ago - every shot they had went in and it was more often than not a belter.

Ferguson's stubbornness could be an issue. Still playing 433 when 4-0 down away to Rangers is just baffling.

Indeed. Just hope this does not turn into the disaster I Fear. Worse than Brown.

It's easy to overreact but the next few games will be quite telling. If he can't learn from his mistakes then it's a shit situation to be in and last night he made plenty.

For those slagging off the pink Clyde away top and for that matter Partick Thistle's black and pink away top, worth remembering that both clubs are donating procees to very worthwhile Breas Cancer Charities. Well done to both clubs for doing that

Outstanding that Ferguson is being written off after FOUR competitive games. For f**k sake. You couldn't make it up. Are folk forgetting that Duffy - a so-called experienced manager - rarely changed the shape or even made substitutions to change games it was evident were getting away from us? As Chris said above, Duffy himself led us to a 6-1 defeat to Ayr two seasons ago. Barry will make mistakes; he's new to management, not least at this level - the talk of him delivering promotion this season was hopeful at best and it'll take him time to acclimatise to the requirements of this division, and the limitations of the players in it. At least give him half a season before writing him off.

No-one is writing him off but many of us are extremely annoyed at the way he failed to change anything and then decided to use his post-match interview to announce that the players let themselves down rather than take some responsibility himself.

The Ayr game you refer to was 0-0 at half-time and Ayr scored 4 goals in the last 20-odd minutes after Duffy made some substitutions. That happen sometimes and is not remotely comparable to last night's events where we could have lost by 12 or more, and it was apparent from within 10 minutes.

Fine, we give him a chance but he has some making up to do and should be admitting he got it wrong and saying he'll learn from it, not pinning the blame on the players.

You're season will be over by Christmas so he's got until October. So far he's managed to to piss off his players and have the fans cursing each other, when their not turning quickly on their own players that is. Are you Rangers in disguise?

This is great! Clyde fans falling off their ivory tower like shit oot a donkey's erse.
