lichtie23
They just sat in. Worked against us, didn’t today It wasn’t very poor game overall. Dumbarton had no plan B at all
Buzz Lichtyear
Still, if fancy our chances of taking more points from Dumbarton that we did from Alloa this season. As things stand, no reason we can’t have a really good go at winning the league itself, with a bit more consistency

Obviously the rovers staying full time they'll be hoping to go one better than this year, you guys had a great season, airdrie having a bit of an overhaul and the 2 teams coming down will look to bounce back. Should be a good 1

Dumbarton got their comeuppance in the end. And it's another west coast fixture for us western exiles.

lichtgilphead
Just as well Dumbarton came down as it's only a 140 mile round trip. Otherwise, Alloa would be the nearest ground to me at 204 miles to get there & back. Airdrie & Stenny are a similar distance, then it jumps to 270 miles return for Raith & East Fife The Angus clubs average over 300 miles, and Stranraer is 340. Don't think I'll get to too many games next season
timlichtie
Is this the first time since league restructuring that all 4 Angus team's have been in the same league? Who does it favour? It should be good for gates, but will the Angus teams drag each down in a dogfight and allow the others to prosper?

I think we will be the best team in Angus but I do fear being involved in so many derby scraps will cost us points. It should be fun though.
timlichtie
Will "the natural order" be restored? Some of us can fondly remember the days when games against our neighbours were a guaranteed 2 points! I can't see that being repeated next season. We can dream.
subber
Campbell is releasing McCord, Skelly, McIntosh, Gomes and Hutton. Interested in Hamilton back-up keeper Darren Jamieson who made 90-odd appearances in the Championship for Livingston a few years back

1320Lichtie
Would rather keep Skelly than Kader purely because Skelly has a higher ceiling. Not literally, before anyone says
