Quitongo's Left Peg
As KillieSquirrel also says, the old Safeway is usually the best place to park, although travellers have taken over part of it so that might not be the best place to head this weekend. If you're there early enough (before half 2) then there's always plenty of space in the surrounding streets off Dundonald Road (Scott Road for one, fire it in the Sat Nav) if you're heading to the Hotel or Sports Bar pre-match; or Charles Street/Seaford Street if you fancy the Brass & Granite. All three will have the Arsenal v Man City game on, as will the Howard if you're braving Safeway.
Squirrelhumper
I think you're the only one still peddling this. This has been ongoing since the start of the season and we've been okay until now. You continuing to mention this wouldn't have anything to do with MJ would it? We've played one game since the players got union involved and we were utterly horrendous.
Squirrelhumper
It being public or not means nothing. If a lack of a 10th place bonus was going to affect the players and their performances then it would have from the off, not now. And it is entirely about MJ, as he's the one being blamed for this. Although I'm sure Bowie and others had taken on player finance... Anyway, I think you should have enough to worry about at your own clyb before getting involved in our problems (or lack of them) I never mentioned MJ. You did. Bonuses agreed by board. Squirrelhumper
And my point was exactly that - not even Killie fans are bothered about what is a complete non-story. Except those that have something to benefit from it being true of course... Is it naive to suggest that if Killie players were going to let this affect their performance then it would have happened by now? Say Saints lose again on Saturday, and Killie keep a clean sheet... How long do you think TC has before the vultures are circling? Or are they already? It is true though. What do I have to benefit from?

Just because the players have only recently got the union involved doesn't mean that it hasn't been dragging on since pre-season. I never mentioned MJ. You did. Bonuses agreed by board. No, Keith Jackson did. As did you on .com I'm sure. It is true though. What do I have to benefit from? It may very well be true, but it's still a non-story. I won't get back into what certain individuals stand to gain from MJ's departure, we're past all that.

May back Magennis anytime or first scorer this week, seems a NAP IMO. Can see this ending a draw. 1-1.
Borg
Seems a few of our players were out in Glasgow last night. Hardly the best way to prepare for a huge game on Saturday. Seemingly Marwood and another few were in Kushion nightclub in Glasgow lastnight. Anyway back to the game, 2-0 to Killie and the Tommy Craig relegation train is full steam ahead. Dindeleux
I think Killie will fancy their chances of getting at our defence. If Magennis is in the mood he can cause an off form McAusland some problems. A BBC reporter mentioned he will be out for another few weeks. Assuming he is back by the start of October it will still take him at least 4-6 weeks to get match fit. We'll be lucky to see the best of him by December given his age. Worrying times. Caldwell looks a decent player but is still very raw, not sure what to make of Ball yet. I think you will see Thompson manage St Mirren in a game before you see him playing in one. Can see this ending a draw. 1-1. Big Josh has to start scoring soon, surely? Against A*r he was first to everything but, as previously posted, looked as if he'd never seen a football when it came to the crunch. Form says we should take this one, but I reckon a score draw. Glass half empty mood at the moment... Looks like I won't make any more games before Christmas, so hopefully we keep loping along mid-table until I'm cleared to drive again - it would be nice, and not unrealistic, for us to be challenging for top six at least. I do like the way that the season's start has poured cold water on the usual St Mirren trolling, as well. Long may it continue. If they get relegated, would they ever come back up? At least they'd be closer to their real rivals, and not have to pretend that they belong with the big boys...
Stu
Seemingly Marwood and another few were in Kushion nightclub in Glasgow lastnight. Anyway back to the game, 2-0 to Killie and the Tommy Craig relegation train is full steam ahead. Kushion? There's actually a club called Kushion? Is that next door to Karbon? Not that I'm an expert on places like that seeing as the infamous Chancers in Dumfries is the only club I've ever been in/wanted to play for. And the only constructive thing Magennis did in his time with us was run out of Wylde's way for his goal against Killie.

Lex
Aye, but if you listen to Lex then it's only Killie that has problems ... Yep, our players going out together 5 days before a game is certainly a Killie-esque crisis
sergie's no1 fan
Jeez They get Wednesday off. I hardly think going out on a Tuesday is going to have much of an effect for a game on Saturday...? True, maybe they only had a few drinks too. I appreciate they are adults and have a life outside of football. Just thought they would have had time to do that with their time off due to the international break. Anyways, Douglas McNeil tweeted Thommo has been down to London ( probably on the piss ) to see a specialist and got an injection.

However, the St Mirren players should be a bit more savvy than to be going out clubbing the week of a league match when they have yet to even score this season. I'd also be questioning why they're getting a Wednesday off when their record has been so abysmal this season - I'd be wanting my players in every day to remedy the issues. Yeah, if you're not doing well at work they should definitely make you come in 7 days a week. Can't see anyone objecting to a reasonable request like that. I think you knew that I didn't mean seven days a week, as days off after matches etc are fine. But is there any reason you know of why a footballer can't train Monday to Friday in the build up to an average weekend?
