It'd be difficult but it was the same with Seabraes since it was a goods yard and Scottish Enterprise have reprocessed the ground there so its def not impossible. Just makes it less viable but someone would develop it coz its too big a chunk of land to stay empty

Yeah I can quite easily see that whole chunk (maybe including the park and allotments too) getting a few hundred indentical new build boxes stuck on it unfortunately... They might be nice and name a few streets after the clubs but that and maybe some blue/orsnge paint would probably be as much as any developer would bother with these days!

Hayser78
Your landlord is going to let you sub-let? Really? You stated you had to own property in order to have tenants. I corrected your inaccuracy. As for my personal dealings or that of Dundee...who the f**k knows or cares?

punk_dfc
Come back when you've understood the difference between tenants and sub-tenants. In the unlikely event Dundee United were willing to groundshare the new stadium, the more plausible option is that the company which owns the ground would lease to both clubs in part, with a large part of the stadium being common.Whilst Dundee United would not be giving any money directly to Dundee FC in that scenario, it would cut DFC's outgoings on rent.

But, as you say, an unlikely event. -

punk_dfc
More likely to double your landlord's income. But, as you say, an unlikely event. Well no. You don't typically pay the same rent to share a building as you would for exclusive occupation. I'm sure if Dundee were to share the stadium, their rent would decrease. Unlikely anyway, as you say.
Sooky
Without meaning to interrupt the last few pages of tenancy agreements and landownership...Myself and a friend have recently set up Proud Dees, a supporters group for LGBT fans and friends. We believe this is only the second such group in Scotland (Aberdeen supporters set one up last year) but the vast majority of English Premier League teams have such groups already (such as the more inventively named Gay Gooners, Canal St Blues, KopOuts etc).So far the social media reaction has mainly been positive, with the odd exception - but with over 70% of fans hearing homophobic abuse, and over one in five 18-24 year olds saying they'd be embarrassed if a player on their team came out and that homophobic language is just banter - we think there's definitely a place for the group within the club and the supporters association. So, yeah, a shameless plug...https://facebook.com/Proud-Dees-2323988474493144/https://twitter.com/prouddees#nohomo
