All things Dundee FC

Honestly think it's quite funny that we have 4 strikers in the squad and probably won't be able to play any of them on Tuesday.

Jakubiak - Out injured.

Mullen - Just back from injury, likely not ready.

Afolabi - Out on U21 international duty.

Hamilton - In quarantine.

Gowser to score a hat-trick against Forfar imo

Realistically, are there any deals on the horizon, do we think??

If I were a betting man I'd say that today is a waste of time for us and will only serve to get some fan's hopes up only for them to be cruelly dashed.

I doubt we'll see much action today. I guess we'll find out if those Byrne rumours from a few weeks ago have any substance, but I doubt that. I also don't think we'll be permanently signing any players who are already at another team.

Personally I don't think we should be spending any more money on players, unless we get insurance money or it's a 1 in 1 out scenario.

Of course I would love us to be promoted this season, the bigger picture for me is sustainability until fans are allowed back with no restrictions.

We have a not too bad squad right now with the exception of the GK, we could, on paper, challenge for the title as is but I just want us to make it through the season.

As I expected, what would we give for a decent keeper being brought in, though???

Anyway, almost time to start the season with a 0-0 draw against Forfar, so there's that to look forward to....

A striker who is not injured be a gd start i think.

Sow to sign....

Goalkeeper is a must. It was the biggest glaring issue in our side the last 2 seasons and it’s still not resolved. That should’ve been signing priority number 1 over pre season. Can’t take a manager and his goalkeeper coach seriously if they don’t see this problem.

It will, unfortunately it will be Sow and everyone will turn off.

At least they'd be giving the service a full and proper test for the season ahead as people invariably log-off 20 minutes early to avoid the traffic.
