Dundee-FC92 Posted May 10, 2023 Share Posted May 10, 2023 Let's make it clear, Bowyer deserved another year but was hardly incredible in what he done over the season. Until he played two upfront (which still had its awful performances) we were largely average. Genuinely believe without ICT or Particks injury crisis mid-season we would be in the play offs. Not to mention Queens suddenly turning into an awful outfit for their final 7 or 8 games. It's been done early enough for us to do what's needed on the players front which is absolutely the main thing, as we need a complete overhaul. All the best to Bowyer, hopefully he gets the Blackpool job and can be closer to his family. We move on (swiftly I hope). Then yeah, he'll struggle. His signings for us were generally along the lines of being a good player but not in the way needed to play how he wanted to play. Presuming they didn't get the answer they wanted. If he was going to go it had to be now. Now they better not fook up the next appointment. Next season will be mostly on the wrong end of results and he'd be getting hounded again by the morons. He'd be stupid AF to have stayed.
