Jefferies Must Go Thread

Recommended Posts

How long ago did most fans realise this?

It's similar to the Masterton era again. Dot net isn't helping by constant protection of any criticism.

Will end up part time with sub 2000 crowds next season if he stays on till the end of season.

Carded and post deleted on .net. Conflict of opinions to the "everything's okay1!11!" crowd. Wave anything above their nose and they'll clap merrily.

Sick of Jefferies. Still wasn't convinced after the Stirling game (they're especially brutal), and we've appeared to go back to the way we have always been.

By all accounts we weren't unlucky, we just threw it away. Totally pathetic.

He isn't going to go this week, he survived the stenny game, he'll comfortably survive this.

As much as I want him gone, I do concede that it'd take something drastic for it to happen. Something like the Kenny era - a 6 game winless run or whatever.

Wish that wasn't the case and the board could see through his persistent shit in post match comments.

Including the cups, we've managed two wins in the last seven games - over Stirling Albion and East Stirlingshire. Six of the seven teams were part-timers. In three of those games we've thrown away a lead late on. We're only the fifth highest scorers in the league and that has to be the crux of our problem. Instead of addressing it the manager just says how great we are.

He changed it last week and then even in his postmatch interview it was clear he was itching to get back to his preferred approach. The two goals we scored today were from set piece hoofs into the box - they all count of course but it's prehistoric stuff to hear him talking about certain venues not being places to try and play football. ("We have to roll our sleeves up and battle. It will be a good old fashioned cup tie from both teams; you cannot go down there and play like you can because they stop you doing that. They make it physical and they have experience about that as well.).

Never sealised that. Wow. That is telling.

We must be the biggest laughing stock just now. Every other fans of different clubs can see he is finished. They wouldn't put up with it if it were their club with the biggest budget in the league by quite some distance. Why should we? Just because we have been through administration? Didn't stop Dundee and look where they are.

Sick of Jefferies and his post match drivel. It's the same cliched nonsence that portrays you as a loser and unwilling to accept it. At least Aitken has the balls to see a game for what it is. Wish we had someone like him in charge. Someone that can actually read the game and be honest instead of this bullshit we hear every week that we have a good team and we are underachieving. Absolute nonsense. We have a decent enough squad that should win the league quite comfortable but we've fucked it already and playing catch up to Forfar Athletic and Greenock Morton. Drastic.

Gozie had a groin strain. To be fair we were comfortable until Gibsons fluke goal that got them back in it.

But bizarrely were already adopting time-wasting tactics even before that when you looked comfortable. That was what gave us the opportunity to keep pushing for a second goal....

Yet again, one of the top four teams. Got pumped.

If we don't win the league, same result.

Get him out now!

Worth a protest against Airdrie?

Edit - judging on the reaction on dot net it seems like about 90% of fans have turned against him.

Once the happy clappers have turned there's no going back. Shame we wasted months, he should've walked after Cowden.

No excuses, no more chances. Get to falkirk.

Would appear that the majority of happy clappers are seeing through his shite. The ones that still adore him are the usual punters that you'd expect, but hopefully the majority of our support are starting to wake up and smell the coffee.

Get him to fvck. 2-0 up and manage to chuck it away spectacularly. That's just one instance. We can add that to the ever growing list of utter embarrassments we've had to endure during his stint. What makes this especially different was the pot of gold that was waiting in the next round. TV money and a large travelling support would have been smashing for our coffers to aid our promotion push but it's going to benefit Stranraer now: one of our main rivals for the title. BRILLIANT.

Potter looks like someone who would be able to bring some inventiveness to this squad. He's managed to hold his own with the U20s in a league full of Premiership teams. Wish JJ would just walk away and introduce Potter to the hotseat. Potter is a Dunfermline fan as well so obviosuly has that same affinity with the supporters. Would be ideal.
