With FFP its hard to see how any club could pay that.

Considering FFP is completely pointless near major sides with billionaire owners I wouldn't be surprised if someone paid it

SSN reporting Bony will finalise a £30m+ deal to Man City this week if he agrees terms on an expected £200k a week contract :green

Why is everyone so surprised at the fee for Bony?

He's an excellent striker and Man City have been playing James Milner upfront recently.

Swansea paid £12 million for him, it's not that huge a jump given he scored more goals than anyone in the league in 2014.

If Bony scored 25 goals in La Liga last year, would he cost £30M?

Bony will never ever be more than an average EPL striker. Its a complete waste as he'll not be able to push them on any. Id rate Aguero, Dzeko and Jovetic ahead of him. So £30m for a fourth choice striker is obscene

I reckon if Bony was in Diego Costa's position at Chelsea he'd be scoring the same amount of goals. I think one of Dzeko or Jovetic will leave, probably Dzeko if any. £30M is a lot, but considering how often Aguero is out injured, it's reasonable enough for a very good striker, "fourth choice" or not.

Manchester United don't need Valdez. Dr Gea is better.
