Ifs and buts. They both somehow won and therefore deserve to be there. IMO the Titans should be 18-0 right now. A mixture of bad refereeing, bad playcalling and being unlucky made us a 2-14 team. I get licthies point though, it's a bit like the Old Firm of old. Not really playing that great, and don't look to be that deserving to win a few games but they just happen to somehow get the rub of the green to get them there.
