The Great Big Kilmarnock Thread

Seeing the amount of respect the players show Dyer, when it all comes to the end of the Clarke Era, I would like Dyer to be given that managerial role. I have no doubts that obviously Clarke is behind the magic but I feel Dyer does a lot more than he is given credit for.

The man just oozes legend!

Pretty sure Clarke has already said he fully intends to see out his 2 and half year deal then pass the reigns to Dyer, don't think there's any chance that he'll change his mind and stay after his deal is up, family still stay down south.

Just have to hope he's good to his word and does see it out.

Oh I do believe he will see out his contract, I feel by that time Dyer will have learned all he needs to.

Same, and not sure why either. Seeing him puts me in a better mood.

Just found myself watching this on a loop for about two minutes.  What a fucking time to be alive, genuinely don't think I've ever been happier as a Kilmarnock supporter - and I'm desperate for these guys to take us to Hampden.

Here's an interesting stat I looked up earlier re winning ratios as Killie boss since Mixu:

Kenny Shiels 28.4%

Allan Johnston 30.3%

Gary Locke 25.6%

Lee Clark  22.7%

Lee Mcculooch 26.7%

Steve Clarke 55.6%

Incredible.

Better than McCulloch and Clark combines. Amazing.

Killie winning the league next season would surely pretty much unite Scottish football and society.

The most amazing thing is that AJ won almost a third of his games.

That doesn't seem right.

He didn't have many draws - there were a lot of defeats in there.  That's why win percentage isn't a very good measure - points per game is better.

McCulloch & Clark combined is 49.4% if you are trying to do the average you have got that wrong also it is 24.7 %.

I took it from the above list. 18 wins from 74 games between them = 24.3%

Seeing as you're a numbers guy, here's one you might like...

Eamonn Brophy has scored as many goals for Killie in the last 100 days as he managed in 75 games for Accies.
