are talking about some of us leaving when montrose scored ?

I think shed boy is talking about the stewards turning away a group of the young boys from the choir section who the stewards, not the club, have decided are now banned.

I assume stewarding at most grounds should follow the same guidelines but how these guidelines are applied seems to vary greatly. There seems to be more complaints at all seated grounds where segregation is almost automatic i.e. home one end away the other end than at standing grounds where fans generally create their own segregation but still mix to a degree. (Ochilview perhaps the exception)

The legislation around controls at football and probably more so about how they are implemented needs looked at.

Stewarding at Bayview is generally quite good but as an example a rule that stops a child being admitted because they have a small bottle or carton of juice needs changed.

Your last sentence is a symptom of wider society unfortunately where for 30 years we've been getting conditioned to comply. Watched a fella at Airdrie, where stewards are generally pretty good, trying to explain to two pre-school kids why the 'man' had to look through their wee backpacks. Utterly ridiculous.

What is distinctly noticeable is the behaviour between clubs who casually employ some locals versus clubs who outsource a specialist events manager. The latter is so heavily regulated stewards aren't allowed to make common sense decisions and, in truth, the kind of people who want to work for them don't want to make decisions. Easier to hide behind the old "just doing my job" routine. Thankfully, in this league, most clubs prefer the former.

Ok. We are nearing the end of the season , nobody seems to know where we may be playing, fans are being denied entry or ejected for reasons unknown while crowds have hardly risen despite sitting 2 nd top. Is it just me or do those in charge of keeping this club alive seem to have disappeared!

Apart from getting your name on next seasons shirt, there is nada about the future.

And before anybody trots out 'become a member and you will find out', I have no wish to become a member. Our Chairman at the start of the CIC stated 'you don't have to be a member to support the club'

Gypsy Army you talk absolute nonsense. Whilst I agree with many that the ownership model is flawed it does allow owners to ask questions on the Q&A section of the website. Now I have had a number of issues with how our Club is run but on each and every occasion I have raised a question I have had a comprehensive response. There have been a number of awkward questions raised by other owners and the answers are there for all to see. It should also be pointed out that the Chairman has made it known that he is available to talk to anyone on match day if they so desire.

I may sound like an apologist for the Board but in fairness some of the guff spouted here is over the top.

The questions don't show up until they answer them. We have no idea what questions are ignored. The only thing I discovered from joining the CIC was that the owners know just as little as everyone else.
