GiGi
That's the kind of advert the local call centre puts out when looking for staff. Anyway just need to hope we get the right guy in to take the club forward. St Mirren played a blinder getting Ross in. No reason not to look to do the same with this appointment.

And you only need to challenge for promotion, so presumably finishing forth will do. Ambitious stuff. Good.Don't give a f**k about style of play or footballing philosophies right now. Prioritising success and position is far more important, and I'm not sure I would want them limiting the field by advertising with playing style specifics.Outline the ambitions to prospective bosses and let them say how they are going to realise those.

To he honest, I have never seen many job ads with time quoted specific targets. That's for the interview.
Branch Ton
The club have gone public in this ad with their vision statement saying their ambition is to challenge for promotion. Not to gain promotion and certainly not to gain promotion by a specific date. All this within the confines of sustainability and youth development which means nothing has changed, just the manager in name. Lets hope that at the interview the next appointee negotiates his player budget, agrees sole decision making on player recruitment, which development players to introduce (given the youth dev manager has a seat on the board but the first team coach doesn’t), what his relationship with the CEO should be etc. -

tonnitus
https://gmfc.net/2018/04/30/from-the-office-of-the-new-chairman/ - statement from the new man at the head of the table. Unfortunately it seems the website's crashed. #BoxOffice EDIT: just read it... it's very vague, but making the right sort of noises at least. That's why finishing seventh was a sackable offence. 2 hours ago, k-ton said: What about Jackie McNamara? Pros: He put together a Thistle team that was one of the best I've watched at this level in recent years. Cons: Just about everything else he's done in management. In all seriousness, while McNamara did do a good job with his recruitment that summer, people forget that Partick only really hit their stride after he left for Dundee United and Alan Archibald took over. There were also still decent number of players McNamara had inherited from Ian McCall. They only won two of nine away games under McNamara, under Archibald they won six and drew three. McNamara had been schooled by Allan Moore as they lost twice to us in the two head to heads under him, Archibald got a draw and a win. They'd probably have won the league anyway because they simply had considerably better players than us, but they won it at such a canter because they replaced McNamara with a far better manager in Archibald. McNamara's an absolute charlatan and one good summer doesn't change that. If we're thinking about that Partick though, it could be worth waiting for the Premiership to end in case they sack Archibald and he's desperate/stupid enough to want straight back into management rather than waiting for something better.

The midweek game v Livi where Duffy played a weakened side to focus on the Scottish Cup game against Celtic is where it started to go badly wrong. We were still within touching distance at that point too.

Indeed.Having just won 6 from 7 after finally finding the correct lineup and system. We actually thought it was resting players for the Celtic game, but it was actually the start of a heads gone that meant he barely went back to the winning team and only managed to beat Brechin and Dumbarton from that point on. Since February.Dropping us to 7th, costing us a quarter of a million (and, unlikely as it may have seemed, the title challenge you alluded to).But yet people STILL seem shocked that he was emptied.
Colkitto
Promising statement from Crawford, fair play to him, but I'll reserve judgment until I see who will be our manager and what players and size of squad he will have for the upcoming season.
