Carl Cort's Hamstring
Seriously? Ever? I have the disadvantage of reading the hype before seeing it just there but it's nowhere near as good as a few folk on here making out. It's an outstanding goal. A candidate for goal of the season but your description seems miles off to me. I've seen more spectacular goals, and goals that were more technically difficult, but the way he did it all in a single fluid movement was a thing of beauty. TrueDiamond
Great goal from Delle Alli although spreading people describe before seeing has wasted it! Poor mans Frank Worthington! Too many youngsters on here for that sort of class of player!!!
Andy Dufresne
Goal of the season. And Liverpool transfer committee thought he was not worth £5m

7-2
Poor mans Frank Worthington! It was pre-1992 so it didn't really happen! Paul Wright scored one for Saints at Tannadice that would sit alongside Worthington and Alli's too but of course that won't be on tv.

1320Lichtie
Very good goal, was expecting better though after reading this and what my mates had said, the hype ruined it for me. Still a belter though, good prospect.

Cheer up Aguero, you've just scored 2 goals ffs That was mentioned in this thread earlier. It wasnt a reaction to his goal, it was due to Collins stealing the ball from him whilst it was in the net. Aguerro was trying to get the game restarted quick but Collins grabs it then shoulder charges him!
Carl Cort's Hamstring
David Ginola against Ferencvaros is another one. It also illustrates an important yet overlooked component to the brilliant goal: the keeper. Ginola's goal is about 5% worse because the Hungarian goalie just falls over. Ideally, the goalkeeper needs to make a full-length dive, but shouldn't get a touch on the ball. Courtois spoilt Charlie Adam's goal from halfway by getting his fingers to it IMO. Antti Niemi
7/10 goal in terms of #aesthetics tbh, the ball doesn't loop high enough over his head, as a result it goes too far the other side and he has to ungracefully scramble to keep up, then he swings a lazy leg at it and it trundles into the bottom corner.
