The whole thing does sort of play into the victim thing with the 'mass' stuff. The Kennedy's were Catholic..... just saying. Aye, but they were shot one at a time (when they weren't drowning folk).

ayrshire_nomad
This is not the time or place for thinking about why this happened or how to prevent it, we need thoughts and prayers and sympathies, and Facebook pictures with candles and the "insert name" of where were thinking about

I'm guessing a tweet of 'California? Future socialists. Gunman MAGA-ing bigly!' might have been too cynical even for him, but I'm fully prepared to not be surprised if one similar came out.
TheProgressiveLiberal
Alabama fan who shot Auburn fan over Iron Bowl dispute appears in court before judge who graduated from Auburn https://www.seccountry.com/sec/alabama-fan-shot-auburn-fan-iron-bowl-dispute-appears-court-judge-graduated-auburn Posted 11 hours ago AddThis Sharing Buttons Share to FacebookShare to TwitterShare to PrintShare to EmailShare to More3 You can’t make this stuff up. In the latest twist to a case that provides an entertaining although cautious side-story to the Alabama-Auburn Iron Bowl rivalry, a judge who graduated from Auburn presided over a hearing for a suspect who is an Alabama fan and reportedly has an Alabama tattoo on his neck. Earlier this week the original story surfaced of a fan from each side of the rivalry getting into an argument, when the Alabama fan shot the Auburn fan in the thigh. Here’s what happened in the Mobile, Ala. courtroom on Friday, according to J.B. Blunno of WKRG. “Rodney Lorenzo Alexander’s bond hearing was before Judge Bob Sherling, who received his Bachelor’s and Masters degrees from Auburn University, Blunno says. “In fact, Sherling presided over Alexander’s hearing with an Auburn Tigers mug on the bench.” Here’s look at the judge and his mug, via WKRG: You gotta wonder if Sherling knew he would preside over this case today and brought the Auburn mug especially for it, or if he reps the Tigers every day. Blunno further reports that Alexander’s bond was set at $15,000, and he will have another hearing on Tuesday. No word yet on if Alabama or another SEC school will be represented by the judge on that day. The victim in the shooting — the Auburn supporter — is still in the hospital but is expected to recover soon.

Carl Cort's Hamstring
This popped up on my twitter today. The officer was acquitted. The biggest, most organised and most violent gang in America are the police. Warning: Shows a guy getting shot. The biggest, most organised and most violent gang in America are the police. Warning: Shows a guy getting shot. Vile. The police were called when hotel guests saw him pointing a rifle out of the window, so police caution is understandable. However, if you think the guy might have a gun down the back of his breeks, why not have him lie superman flat on the ground and check first? If you're worried about someone else in the hotel room, why not have other police approach the room while this guy is supermanned? Why no taser? There has to be something better than comply with each individual motion exactly or you're dead. The policeman was found not guilty, btw. Also vile that professional racebaitmerchant King bizarrely refrains from mentioning the victim is white in this instance.

That's reassuring... I was going to ask when this became a thing but I remember little toe rags calling the fire engines from phone boxes back in the day. I guess this is just todays equivalent.
