Yet another US shooting

Recommended Posts

US politicians don’t want to talk about gun control immediately after  such incidents.
Then they don’t want to talk about it one month, six months or a year after.

That’s because they’re afraid of getting shot.

"Our larger population means our problems are different. You can't compare anything. Sorry"

Hell mend the c***s

Surely all education on the subject of guns in America would suggest they need a fucking change in their current laws!

The gun control lobby winning arguments with facts and reason is as impotent as Republicans thoughts and prayers

They need to respect the way the American political system works raise a lot of money and buy more elected officials than their opponents

The NRA May be dangerous, horrible, mad and evil but at least they’re willing to put their money where their mouth is

BBC reporter just tried to get an interview at the NRA headquarters. Was told to stop filming and move his car off the premises. Wonder how they’d have persuaded him to move if he’d refused?

Also stinks to see the NRA flying their flags at half mast.

The NRA really don't spend that much bribing politicians, getting on their list of gun friendly candidates is what counts. Convincing American voters to back gun control would take a lot more than bribing candidates. Electric shock therapy probably. And a bit of patience for it to work, with so many guns in circulation it could take decades till gun deaths go down to non insane levels.

His logic seems to be suggesting these school massacres are the result of peoples' guns going off by accident, or due to a lack of experience with them. What a bizarre argument.

You may have taken my post slightly more seriously than I intended

There’s not a great deal to say about guns other than they are a deadly weapon and if you shout someone with one you will either kill them or cause a life changing injury to them.

The rest of the statistics in America speak for themselves, there really isn’t any education on the subject that would lead anyone with any sense to support keeping them the way they are in the U.S but you see clearly how so many people there are brainwashed.

Check out @ndrew_lawrence’s Tweet:

So it turns out that they don't just do the normal things in US schools like fire drills, they also have "what to do if we get a headcase on a killing spree" drills.

That actually makes sense, as these incidents occur with depressing regularity. (Not every week, but it seems like it.)  And it also maybe stops them from being sued if there is an attack at their school and they hadn't prepared for it.

It makes sense, but by the same token it also means that pupils who decide to go native know exactly where to look for everyone...

I hadn't really thought that through, had I? :o
