In addition, the latest hospital mortality figures, published earlier this year, show a drop of 16.5 per cent since recording began in 2007.” Shows you didn't read the whole article and also shows you haven't compared Scottish NHS targets v the other health services targets. Peppino Impastato
Aye might do that, don't want your bigotry rubbing off. How's about this stat, under previous labour administration 85% of referrals were seen within 18, weeks. Under the snp 96% are seen within 12 weeks. At a time Westminster has cut our budget by a staggering 10%, something labour didn't have to content with. That's absolutely incredible, breathtakingly good performance from the snp at a time of unprecedented difficulty. Stick that in your flute and play a bigoted song to it.
Peppino Impastato
And kezia dugdale was moaning about the other 4% this week in Holywood. Really, she had the cheek to do that. Called it a crisis.

John Lambies Doos
I'd rather it's left another 4 years tbh. As unpleasant as it will be, we need to see the effect of another 3-4 years of sociopathic Tory policy before sufficient numbers will vote to bin the UK. Certainly not until Tory welfare reform starts firing into pensioners and the triple lock is hopefully gone. The pensioners will still shite it

Almost double that of England & Wales!http://www.scotsman.com/news/concern-over-unexpected-increase-in-scottish-mortality-rates-1-4161879 It's frankly ridiculous the SNP haven't yet introduced immortality. You fucking moron 31 minutes ago, John Lambies Doos said: The pensioners will still shite it Probably. Either way, the triple lock should be emptied imo. Pension and pension-related benefits account for nearly half of the welfare spend, and any future welfare reform is simply going to have to come from pensioners, which will result in some interesting scenes.

You're just another Keyboard mouth mate, your insults speak volumes. The report (taken from NHS Scotland figures) states a FACT taken from the last available full 12 months data comparable to the rest of the UK. How better do you ultimately measure the health of nation than its mortality rate? Our Health Service is amazing but the figures speak for from themselves, the headline didn't create itself. Would you like to talk about educational standards or the transport network next?

NHS Spending per head of the population in Scotland is still higher than both England & Wales Pep. Can you explain the difference in the care standards I have mentioned? Then stick me on ignore, there's a good lad.
welshbairn
They should keep the triple lock on pensions but they should be means tested imo. Bit brutal on those who have been lucky enough to have good jobs all their lives and sorted out their own private deals, but better to give them a hit than the people who really need the basic pension.

I joked about means-testing them to my old man and he nearly had a fit The triple lock is completely unjustified imo. It's wrong to be chopping away at working age, and indeed disability benefits when the most well-off section of welfare recipients isn't only safe from cuts, but actually gets a wee regular increase (although in a few cases this is counter-productive for them). Sadly, no government will ever have the stones to do anything drastic with pensions/pension-age benefits. 2 minutes ago, RedRob72 said: Not sure why the quote function didn't copy your whole post?
