It's hard to say whether the SG has dealt with this absolutely correctly given the polar views being expressed by Salmond and the Perm Sec. Allegations should be taken seriously. The person against whom the allegations are being made is entitled to expect sufficient information to understand the detail of the allegations. It's not clear that such a balance has been achieved based on what AS is saying but that appears to be in dispute to some extent. Best thing is to let them all get on with it.
