Hampden Diehard
I've just seen Lionel Messi flogging crisps. What sort of world am I living in? The guy's on a squillion quid a week; how much more money does he need that he is trying to get us to buy shitty crisps?
Miguel Sanchez
Beagle Street. Just f**k the fucking f**k off. "Who's gonna make my creme brule just the way I like it?" I think these adverts are an elaborate means of flogging life insurance, presenting the purgatory you're left in if you die uninsured, with only your abandoned dug who hated you for company. Selling by guilt/fear.
Yellow Feet
For some reason I really hate that sleepy c**t from the Nescafe adverts with the band playing outside his house. Agree. Very punchable face.
D.A.F.C
DJ Alexander Legal on STV. Decent advert but what a terrible name. DJ Alexander legal! On the ones and twos, laying down the law, prepare to be judged!
Miguel Sanchez
There's a Matteson's Fridge Raiders advert which I think will be popular with this thread's patrons.
Bold Rover
Possibly there should be a Good Adverts thread for the following pish? Was at the pictures last night and enjoyed the advert for John Lewis Insurance. A wee girl practising her ballet in the house, bumping into loads of stuff but not quite breaking anything as she is oblivious to the carnage she nearly causes. Very amusing.

Mark Connolly
While I appreciate the sentiment, and support it wholeheartedly, that Channel 4 "Show Me Your True Colours" advert is annoying as f*ck.
Estragon
I hate the advert, think it might be Lloyd s, where the Dad of a family is going about trying to cut utilities bills and his family just openly disrespect him. Why does the teenage daughter take the lid off that saucepan for any reason other than to be an actual c**t?! And then to top it off the wee girl at the end who tells him to get off the phone - that wee bitch would be getting pedigreed.
Miguel Sanchez
That's for Natwest. I hope their house blows up and takes that I GOT BILLS song with it.
Estragon
That's it Miguel, had forgotten about the fucking song as well. I'm in a world of hate now.
DA Baracus
Not seen it on TV, but the bus stop ones from Zoopla with 'Dan' must be some sort of joke, as surely no one would actually dress like that?
Miguel Sanchez
These Haribo adverts where a bunch of adults have children's voices dubbed over them. Creepy and annoying.

Tamdunk
The coral 'are you ready karly?'radio ad. It's the only advert I currently turn the radio off for, it's an assault on your eardrums.

Antlion
Jesus, I just saw a new "sunlife/mum" advert for their hoary old "over 50 plan". I can't believe it's not a parody. It's basically a middle-aged woman and an old woman standing in front of the camera in a kitchen, both grasping mugs of tea. The mum rhymes off the old lines about wanting to leave something to go towards funeral costs, whilst the daughter gazes at her simperingly, occasionally gasping "oh, mum" and going in for a hug. I kept waiting for it to be some big gag, it was so cartoonishly cheesy. None came. It was deadly serious.
jimmy boo
Tombola......dozens of supposedly trendy halfwits rock up to some straw filled barn to play brain dead bingo on their phones without any alcohol in sight. WTF?!?!?!?
