Apparently keeps dropping out according to local media. None have updated for over half an hour.

Don't think we're missing much, from what I managed to see it's like one of these interminable arguments on here with 2 pedants disagreeing on the definition of "the". They've stopped to throw a few chops and prawns on the barbie and sink a couple of tinnies or three, back at 4.15 4.45 am our time.

P.S. They've set up a new feed.

Wow, Government side has caved without putting its case, Judge orders Djokovic's to be released in half an hour. Government lawyer warns that Immigration Minister is considering revoking his visa again and deporting him though.

It's now up to the immigration minister to cancel his visa again, or just let him be.  The likelihood if he contests a second cancellation it won't be heard before the First Round starts.

Also if he is cancelled again by the minister he will be deported and not allowed back for three years.

What’s the reason for his arrest this morning?

What happens next for Novak Djokovic?

As was said earlier today, Immigration Minister Alex Hawke could still cancel Novak Djokovic's visa.

Immigration lawyer John Findley told ABC News this could happen if the tennis star was found to have provided false information on his visa application.

"The Immigration Act is a complicated act, and there are quite a few cancellation powers available to the government, to the Immigration Department," he said,

"One of those powers relates to an application that contained false information. That power still remains open to the minister (Alex Hawke), if it's found Mr Djokovic provided false information.

"If the visa is cancelled under those conditions, Mr Djokovic would be barred from entering Australia for three years."

Australia really is an absolute nick of a country. Whether you like Djokovic or not and regardless of his 'recovery' status, someone's right to enter a country should not be getting tossed around the place in the public domain just to fit with the grubby election year politics of the host state.

He really is a c**t.
He really does think rules don't matter to him. It just proves that if you are rich, white and male you can do what you want.

He's either a liar and a cheat or he's a child infecting, super spreading b*****d.

Genuinely despise him.

Just now, Left Back said:

According to the BBC article I just read the reason he won is that his visa was cancelled too early.  He was supposed to have to until 8:30 to respond but his visa was cancelled at 7:40 so it was a "procedural" error y border force.

It seems to be a border force equivalent of holding the guy you watched commit a murder for too long before charging him
