Lex
Watching Sinner take a two set lead on the old clogger Isner there. John thumped down a 136mph serve in the tie break - his fastest of the match. The 20 year old smacked it back at him, won the point and then won the tie break. He's a cracking young player, can see him going far and winning majors.
Connor7
Norrie takes the first set 6-4. Should of been a lot more comfortable, had a chance in almost every service game from Johnson to break. Not a great first set by Norrie, if he goes through the gears he can do this in straight sets.

Raised his game for the 2nd and 3rd set to win with ease.
resk
Congratulations to Cameron Norrie, "through to the second week", and he will play his next match on, erm, Sunday.
Lex
Lot of easy wins today.Straight set wins for Djokovic, Sinner, Paul, Norrie and Alcaraz.Delighted Norrie got his first weeker major monkey off his back, and his last 16 tie against Tommy Paul looks very winnable. He’s ranked above him, after all

Hopefully Norrie takes it!

welshbairn
I thought Heather Watson was finally getting a day off today, but she's got a doubles match at 1pm followed by mixed doubles straight after on the same court.

Donathan
Norrie and Watson both with winnable looking ties in the last 16. Not the Brits that you’d expect to be going furthest but fair play to them. Broady looking second best early on against De Minaur, who’s turning into a bit of a Brit killer this week

Looked like an amateur, simply hitting the ball hard with absolutely no control! She was so far off her game.
