I used to like it. Was probably of its time, though.

I liked it, too, although I can't remember it being side splittingly funny. Quite honestly Sergeant Bilko is still one of my favourites.

The only line that ever made me laugh in Men Behaving Badly involved one of them, pished, with Prawns on his fingers saying "I can't eat them, they disagree with me", to which he (in what I can only assume is a fair approximation of a prawn's voice) replied "No we don't!"

Men Behaving Badly was awful.

It also introduced to the world that pub classic of sitting on the floor and pretending to be in a rowing boat, singing We Are Sailing by Rod Stewart.  I think we are all in agreement that this was a crime worse than not wearing a paper poppy.

He should be shot for exercising a democratic freedom. Which is what the folk in the wars fought for.

'Lest we forget' indeed.

People were shot and killed so we could shoot and kill those who don't wear a poppy.

I prefer WW2 to WW1. Reading Band of Brothers just now and it is excellent. I want a poppy that says ‘I emoji178.png WW2 only’.

Yeah WW1 was supposed to be the ‘war to end wars’.  It didn’t.

Pretty disappointing when you think of it.

You should get a t-shirt made with the slogan WW2 >>>>>>>>>>>WW1.

Do it.
