Northsea80
Murray still has 3 big events to compete for this year, US Open, World Tour Finals and hopefully a Davis Cup Final. If he wins one of those added to the year he's already had he must be favourite.

TheScarf
There's no chance it won't be a third SPOTY for Murray; Wimbledon, Olympics and world number one? Stick yer mortgage on it.
Bully Wee Villa
Are there any tournaments between now and the award being handed out? If so, it must be possible he won't be number one when the votes are counted?
RedRob72
Murray to win it, he's had another terrific year and at the pinnacle of such a competitive sport. Hope wee Carl Frampton gets a decent mention too. Unified the Super Bantamweight Division before moving up 2 Weights in July to take the WBA Superfeatherweight crown from tough and previously unbeaten Mexican Leo Santa Cruz in New York. Some achievement that!!

Stick yer mortgage on it. 100% this, the greatest British sportsman playing at the pinnacle of his career. Andy Murray is the absolute Boi. Hopefully he wraps up the world tour finals this week, to cement his place as the number one tennis player on the planet.

Some achievement that!! It would be an even better achievement if it was true, which it's not. Frampton moved up one weight division to featherweight, where he beat Santa Cruz for the WBA (Super) featherweight belt, as opposed to the WBA (Regular) featherweight belt.

MONKMAN
If only he could win in Melbourne or Paris? I think this finally could be his year in Melbourne. If he wins that in January, he'll be unstoppable next year.

Does it go by voteIf MMA wasn't still not quite mainstream then I reckon he'd win quite easily.
J_Stewart
I got Murray at 6/5 three days before he was confirmed as World Number 1. He's now at 4/9. Next closest shot is Ali Brownlee at 4/1. Andy should be an absolute shoe-in for it. McGregor's unquestionably grown the popularity of MMA over here, but maybe not quite with 'middle-England' where you'd presume the majority of votes would come from. Bolt's the likely winner of the overseas award.

Widge
It will be a travesty if Mo Farah isn't second Personally think it should be Max Whitlock, but then again there's a very clear winner yet again.

Jason Kenny 3rd narrowly ahead of his wife and Max Whitlock.
The Chlamydia Kid
Anthony fucking Joshua?!?! What personality does he have? Big media trained robot. Done absolutely nothing in a ring either. Beat the worst world champion ever who got the belt through the most fortuitous circumstances ever.

However I'd be more exorcised about two equastrians being on the list. Utter no mark 'sport'.
