CountyFan
I come from Edinburgh along queensferry road (A90) and past the bridges to the B904 towards Bo'ness before joining the M9. If you're one of the utter, utter c***s who crawls the whole way up the long Bo'ness turn off before darting into the near stationary traffic just before the new bridge, saving yourself a queue whilst making it so much worse for everyone else, then I genuinely hope you drown in the bath.

Scary Bear
I have no interest in your logic pish I'm furious. That's understandable. I usually want to see the person responsible hanging from a lamppost when I am delayed.

harry94
Anyone know when we're getting the 70mph speed limit? I'm pretty sure everything I've read said October.
RiG
So it's open but it's going to be (partly) closed again and with restrictions and roadworks for another ten months:https://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/news/transport/queensferry-crossing-to-have-10-months-of-lane-restrictions-1-4626084 Would it not have been better just to get everything ready to fully open the QC and the FRB as a public transport corridor rather than this continual jumping back and forth (snigger) between the two bridges?
bob the tank
Mostly overnight work, but the media don't let that get in the way of an SNPbad story. Radio Shortbread full of experts and Willie rennie this morning telling us how bad the bridge is and how it's a vanity project and the usual anti Scottish guff.

Newbornbairn
I don't see how ten months of repairs on a bridge that's only been open a few weeks can be seen as anything less than a f**k up. Not getting party political, but this is ridiculous.
welshbairn
Inexcusable for Nicola not to be keeping an eye out when they were laying that tarmac.

I’m surprised to see you having a go at the SNP. Really surprised. Really, really surprised.

From a distance I like the new bridge. Up close it's an ugly thing and the wind barriers prevent your view of the Forth and add to the feeling that it's badly designed. The snagging stuff like this is annoying but anyone who works in construction/engineering will be pretty familiar with this sort of thing. It's sadly the norm for big construction projects.
