Morton vs Rangers

Recommended Posts

It's amazing.

The video evidence they crave, has on this occasion, been provided.

Yet still, we get an insistence that there's somehow been an injustice.

The Morton manager said it was never a booking. He said something along the lines of it wasn't a booking in a million years. He and Alan Stubbs have both said they would be raging if one of their players was booked for that.

Morton fan on phone in making things up. Saying he saw a GIRUY gesture. Not like Morton supporters to just make things up about Rangers.

Referee told Warburton that Halliday made a gesture that could have caused a riot. Morton fans told us before the game on this very thread they would not react like that to a goal against them

On this, there's no debate.

The chap (can't go with this coarseness) from Paisley is clearly the one who's right.

Kunt is a term of endearment and I'd take the word of an ex ref (one who refereed at a high level) over his.

I couldn't care less what any managers say.

And I'm certainly not interested in anything said on Radio Clyde, for Christ's sake.

I've seen that footage that captures Halliday's classless post-goal performance.

Of course it merited a booking. There's not even a question about it.

You're underselling yourself, chappy. I've a hefty wager that the phrase "shining wit" was created just for you.

#spoonerism

You should have just left it.

Explaining that it's a spoonerism damages its effectiveness as one.

Stop this lcd thing of pitching everything for forever blue.

TBF this pish is a bit like something that happened at TFS with the last lot.

Kris Boyd was booked for gesturing to the Falkirk fans after scoring in front of the South Stand and the phone-ins were full of the apoplectic who thought it was an absolute and tragic injustice.

Thing is, what those watching from the away end and on the telly didn't see was that Kris Boyd had already gestured to the home support and Willie Collum had simply put an arm round him and started to lead him towards the centre spot only for Boyd to break away and gesture again - he was booked for being an utter simpleton basically.

Newspapers were full of it for days.

Fat C'nt.

Wait... there's one flaw in your story.

Kris Boyd scoring? Youre talking shite.

Very similar. Only the very end of it was shown on TV, the BBC showed even less on their highlights, and somehow they can't get it round their heads that more happened (despite the video on Twitter with the Rangers fan laughing at Halliday gesturing to the Morton fans as the camera picked up the second half of the incident).

Sells newspapers though.

This shows a bit more than what the tv cameras caught of Halliday. Deserved yellow.

Only a complete fucking mentalist would think that deserved a Yelliw. You can see he never gave it 'the universal gesure forGIRUY' as Morton fans have claimed. Clearly doesn't give the w****r gesture as Morton supporters have claimed. Not like Morton supporters to just make things up to try and damage Rangers reputation.
