paranoid android
Read a lot of negative stuff about Hearts' performance the other night. While it is not the ideal scoreline, one goal next week puts Hearts in firm command. First game of the season against a team halfway through their season and a win on the board. Not a bad night's work. In the first qualifying round, the main thing is to win. The performances will build from here. There will be an improved sharpness next week about Hearts then there will be a noticeable difference in the next round. Sensible post. I'm not sure how much sharper we can be in the space of 6 days, but we'll have benefited from the game.
paranoid android
So, if we're going with one guy of front on Wednesday, who's your best bet - Juanma or Sammon? Maybe it'll be a 4-6-0? If we are going to clog the midfeild, Rossi at CB, and Souttar in centre-mid alongside Kitchen?

If we are going to clog the midfeild, Rossi at CB, and Souttar in centre-mid alongside Kitchen? If we go with one up I'd play Juanma with Walker just behind. A midfield of Kitchen, Djoum, Buaben and Nicholson. Buaben on the right but not playing too wide.
shootingboots
Hearts will go through. Thursday night was first competitive match of the season, got to allow for a bit of rustiness, you'll will over there too I reckon.

craigiemack
Birkirkara winning 1-0 so a trip to Malta for Hearts if I stays like this, they look a pretty decent outfit however.

shootingboots
All the best to the JTs tonight. Reckon you'll win easy enough though. Birkirkhara are the mob that ran West Ham close last season aren't they?
DiegoDiego
Red and Yellow are the colours we love, the colours of Birkirkara football club! That's a nice wee away trip you've got yourselves. Stadium is good but in the middle of nowhere. They have a great social club on Birkirkara high street. Surprisingly animated fans, lots of flags, brass band, et cetera. Elixir
We'll struggle against the Maltese Falcons if we fanny around in the leg at Tynecastle again as it will be a tough away match.
