I bet Cowden, I'm squids in!

It was a banker! Had the Pars/Cowden double.

Amazing run by Peterhead - well done and best of luck in playoffs and of course we all look forward to you stuffing Rangers in the cup.

The game was totally spoiled by the gale force wind but no excuse for not beating a poor Cowdenbeath who took their only real chance whereas we wasted our chances. A big improvement is needed if we are to avoid an embarrassing defeat against Rangers in the Challenge Cup Final.

Great result. Don't think many of us were expecting that. Fight left in the team yet. Hope Spence is ok, text commentary said he went off injured.

I would be surprised if he went off injured, he managed to get to the far touchline quite easily when he knew he was about to be subbed. Whoever said that he went off injured was probably just basing it on the five minutes that he took to walk the width of the pitch.

Pretty standard practice, same with the goalkeeper going to the other side of the box to take goal kicks, every team time wastes.

Fair play to Cowdenbeath, they came up here to get at least a point and defended well and scored a well taken goal after a poor clearance from our goalkeeper. We have gone off the boil in our last 3 home games and will have to regain form before the play-offs and find our shooting boots again. It is difficult to criticise any team today, as walking to and from the stadium was difficult with a howling gale and driving rain - never mind try to play football!

Commentary said Spence hit the post fairly late on?

Em, clearly not.

Isn't a gale force wind just normal in Peterhead?

It is, and we know how to play it better than anyone else. We didn't use it all the second half, and no disrespect to Cowden but you didn't even need to play that well today. No need to look beyond any of the players on the pitch today for why we lost, other than Strachan and Gilchrist no one played anywhere near their level where they have this season.

Massive result today, given what happened last time.

Another "surprise" win for us next week will be very welcome.

Was good and Peterhead were excellent in the last game at Balmoor. But Cowden gave up when it was 4-0, still not happy about that even if the conditions were farcical and the game should have been stopped.

Not so sure that Peterhead will go up.
