professor challenger
Think the management still have faith that Azeez will produce. The problem is that finishing isn't something that can be picked up by specialist training.

When are the players back for preseason training?

Pie Of The Month
I appreciate the league cup group stages limit our ability to have a decent pre-season friendly but behind closed door games plus Dumbarton must be the worst pre-season schedule of any full time team in Scotland ever.

Strangely I think the guy has a fairly good all round game. It's just he has a brain freeze in front of goals.
jagfox
Boys back at it tomorrow. From ptfc.co.uk: The first team squad return back for pre-season training tomorrow morning and the Jags management team has already planned another gruelling schedule for the players as they look to get them into the best possible shape ahead of the first Betfred Cup group stage matches. After two weeks of intensive double sessions the squad will travel to England for a weeklong training camp on Tuesday 4th July. Another tough week is lined up for the Jags south of the border with the squad also playing two friendlies, both of which are behind closed doors. Thistle return to Scotland on Sunday 9th July ahead of the only open doors friendly, a short trip to Dumbarton on Tuesday 11th July. Ticket details for the Dumbarton fixture will be confirmed shortly. Edited June 19, 2017 by jagfox99

Only got the Lindsay destination and the unveiling of our new kit to look forward too... Oh, for the years where we needed ten or more players to be added... We already know the kit is the marginally less bad of two dreadful options. Terrible draw in the league cup as well. Wake me up when the league starts. Cerberus
A lack of interesting news, boring friendlies, 1 or 2 dull like for like signings. Our 'Meh' transition into St Johnstone is on schedule.
jagfox
I'm that bored I've not even got my season ticket yet.
jaggyness
I see Dumbarton are after Penrice for the season on loan, I know we have muzzy, booth and elliot but I just wonder if we're looking at another body who can play at full back
jagfox
Hopefully, I don't fancy Lawless and Spittal as wing-backs
Nizzy
Hopefully. I've clocked a couple of posts recently that suggest there's something going on with Muzzy, his injury aside. And I still see Christie as an able stand-in rather than a long-term, first-choice full-back.
Reid
I reckon we will be looking at full backs. I reckon Muzzy could be away due to his "personal issues". Just a hunch.
cilitbang
If Muzzy is away + Penrice being loaned out then I wouldn't be against approaching SOD + ATS (I'm sure others would though ). Both got released and can play full back and wingback positions.
Griff Sheridan
I'll be fucking GUTTED if Muzzy leaves. One of the most exciting players to watch that we've had.
Slacker
What's the rumour with Muzzy? Someone message me please. We've got Just Employment Law on board as our main sponsor for this season. Which, if you'll remember, was our sponsor when macB went down the shitter for half a season. No mention of it being a "six-figure deal" or anything like that, so I'm guessing it's a pretty pish deal and we couldn't find anyone else.

Cerberus
That's a shame. Great player on his day. Hopefully he can sort it out.
