Looks like Keown is still there. I can see him signing a revised deal. His lack of height will possibly cause him issues getting a club down south at the moment, imo.
Nizzy
One is a defensive midfielder the other is a winger.

Do we really need another injury prone player, espcially one that plays in the same position as Fitzpatrick? Yes, we need a long term injured player to provide cover for interviews in case Banzo gets fit and is able to play. It is a required part of the match preview that Archie tells us that someone will be back in around six weeks.
the_paulo
We'll have the best injured players in the league though. Just wait until they're back.
Coooombe
If Coulibaly ends up playing for you lot the seethe by the Egyptian nutters will be glorious to watch. If you think Celtic fans commenting on Rangers topics is bad wait until you see the Al Ahly fans and Coulibaly.

Thistle_do_nicely
I kind of like the idea of random Al Ahly fans signing up on here with usernames like FathyBoomBatty and IShotTheSherif with the sole aim of spraffing insults all over our match threads tbh, would liven things up a bit. JamesM82
Amid much uninformed speculation, the Club would like to clarify the current situation with regards the signing of Souleymane Coulibaly. The Club is, and always has been, fully aware of Souleymane’s situation. There was no naivety about the complications that would be involved in gaining clearance for him to play for Partick Thistle. Before international clearance could be sought, it was a requirement for the Club to sign the player. That essential step began the process, in conjunction with the Scottish and Egyptian FAs, of gaining clearance for Souleymane to play for the Club. There is no cost to Partick Thistle associated with having taken this step. The Club remains determined to do everything they can to ensure Souleymane is fully registered and available to play as soon as possible. https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-news/player-update/
Fuctifano
Thistle could have saved about 300 posts on this thread by saying that on Tuesday but I guess it's been fun speculating.
Nizzy
So he's signed, but isn't cleared to play. Cool.
Pie Of The Month
Thistle seem to have outsourced their statement writing to a stroppy 14 year old girl.
Ad Lib
I think that statement is perfectly sane. Could have come at the time mind.
Big Dan
I always wondered if the Club read WAT and P&B. Now we know.

Nightmare
No cost to Thistle - meaning we're not paying the wages of a player we've signed?

I thought it was passive aggressive pish. If anyone was uninformed then it is because the club decided not to inform in the first place. The club has nowhere near enough goodwill with the fanbase at the moment to be snide.
Cerberus
That reads like the club doesn't seem confident if he will ever play for us. They are just going to start the investigation into the possibility of signing him. I don't mind as much but we shouldn't have announced him as a new signing until he we had the international clearance, or were assured we'd get it.

Probably shouldn't have advertised his strip for sponsorship either..
