Dr Koop
Okay, I'll settle for Thistle collapsing gasping and wheezing into the play-offs, Lord.

Midlife Crisis
One would have hoped that the management team would have spent the last 3 months on tactics and a game plan that didn’t produce the turgid rot that we had served up in the first 10 games. But no. Same again. No pace, no creativity, no oomph up front and a leaky defence. And the new geriatric signings won’t help. McCall and the two dumplings beside him in the dugout must be creaming themselves safe in the knowledge that they won’t be sacked since the club is so skint.
Fuctifano
A full back combination of a centre back at right back who runs like he's towing a caravan, and a left back who is a right back that can't kick the ball with his left foot and has to cut back onto his right every single time is certainly a potent attacking force. especially when the entire game plan all season has been lumping in crosses, we didn't even manage that today. Hammer Jag
Under normal circumstances, I would be delighted to see McCall binned. But there’s no way we can afford to compensate him and to be honest, would you trust Low & co to find a competent replacement? We would be a stick-on to end up with Shelley Kerr.

A manager like Shelley Kerr who gets pished, tells the players they're useless and leaves them in tears sounds ideal right about now. Anyway McCall wouldn't want compensation when he loves the club so much surely?

The full back situation wouldnt be so bad if we didnt have 3 or 4 specialised right backs in the squad being overlooked in favour McKenna. Or if we had a midfield which was quite gung-ho with out and out wingers. But we dont have that. And our recent signings are all mainly central players so not addressing the problems in the squad at all. Our management team have had the best part of 3 months doing f**k all while other managers in this division have been at their works. For us to seemingly be exactly where we were tactically with an undeveloped game plan is unacceptable. What the f**k have McCall, Archie and Scally been doing for 3 months?!

What other managers and clubs in the division have you been impressed with signings wise last few months. Did think Airdrie did well in getting the lad from Dunfermline Kyle Turner who ironically used to be in the Thistle Weir Academy -
Jollyjag
Only positive from cove game was cardles energy when he came on we seem to be very predictable the way we play and oh for a Lyle Taylor type player up front here’s hoping performances pick up
The Thistle Archive
When relatives get in touch, it's truly amazing what tales lie behind some of our former Jags, and the story of Bert Haugh certainly falls into that category. An international man of some mystery, Bert was very much a man of the people who fearlessly walked a rockier path for a greater good, in spite of the F.B.I. His legacy prevails. Don't miss Bert Haugh - The Red Jag →

I actually think we are ok with Graham and MacIver up front. They had absolutely nothing to go on, so can’t blame them for saturday. The issue has to be the amount of chances which Penrice, Murray, Gordon and Bannigan created. If you wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt (I wouldn’t), they were frequently bypassed by long balls from the defence (not accurate ones). Maybe that shows a lack of faith in them. Murray has to be dropped and Penrice should only ever play LB.

Pie Of The Month
I'm guessing it's to clear space for another loan signing? Either that or Rangers noticed we were playing a player out of position at right back rather than him and thought there was no point in him sticking around.
