The last keeper we got from Hibs worked out pretty well.

A few folk bringing up a clanger for the blue noses vs Motherwell. Funny at the time but Tomas had a few mishaps vs The Well.

Great to have him on board. Not sure if we'll stick with Sneddon as understudy or go for a young guy with experien e like Alexander at Livi?

Cammy Bell is a terrific keeper for this level. When fit he is probably the best keeper in the Championship. The problem is he is made of chocolate. When was the last time he played a season and didnt miss at least half a dozen games injured? Two seasons ago when he was United's keeper they played three games at Palmerston. He went off injured by half time in two of them and wasnt fit to start the other one!

If you can keep him fit he will be ideal but you better have a competent understudy you would trust to play circa quarter of the season.

Good to hear. And that sounds like Cerny, really.

In his three full seasons with us, it seemed like he'd always have a 6 week spell of missing games per year, meaning we'd have to suffer Ryan Scully's ineptitude.

Throwing the ball into the net against Motherwell is a bonus.
It ups his #banter value.

You're rather overstating that. He missed one game entirely and went off injured in three others. Played 49 games in total that season. Not a record which I'd have any worries about.

Can easily see Bell being the best keeper in the league.

I'm guessing Falkirk didn't want him, just like they decided to get rid of Sibbald.

More like Sibbald decided to get rid of us. He was offered a deal. Didnt want to stay. We have signed a keeper today.

Graeme McGarry confirms our interest in Halkett. Also, as expected, we can’t match the offers to Frans.

Two very good signings from you lot, would have taken them both at United

Likewise if - as rumoured - you sign Morris and Frans.

Hopefully we can get Halkett over the line. I thought he’d be a certainty to re-sign with Livi, but the more it drags on, you never know...
