They've also done that previously in Still Game. This series isn't complete awful like series 7 was but it's so "what's the point". People saying it's a patch on the original series are morons, even the bad episodes were better than this. I'm sure I've heard it before so it doesn't appear to have been written specially. The theme tune issue irritates me. The one they use now is the original and to me is The Still Game tune. But on Netflix and some episodes on the DVD it's a completely different tune. No idea why they have two. Thank you for that. Agreed that a problem with the rights would mean them changing it for the DVDs.
