GordonD
I have to keep reminding myself that Meadowbank Thistle aren't the natural predecessors of Edinburgh City, so I'm probably mistaken when I say that a couple of faces in that picture seem familiar. Can you supply a few names?

Can you supply a few names? Actually you're not mistaken at all. There were some old Meadowbank Thistle fans on the inaugural Edinburgh City Brake Club bus to Montrose on Saturday. Some of them were reminiscing about the time they played for the supporters' football teams in the 80s as these matchday programmes that we had with us below show.
Mr Blobby
The player descriptions might give you a laugh.... some are still heavily involved with Edinburgh City Football Club, although not on the playing side any more. I think Mike Buchanan was on our coach on Saturday as well as a few other well kent faces in the other team coach but they're not in the picture. Several folk shot in to the British Legion and missed the photo call.
