King Kebab
Why is Greer starting he ain't gonna be around in Sept 18. Bit harsh!!! I know he's an older gentleman but don't think he's quite ready to shuffle of this mortal coil just yet!!!

Dunning1874
Much like the Germany games in qualifying we're not actually expecting to win, but regardless of how good our opponents are there's no excuse for conceding such terrible goals. France being a great team doesn't justify us being so awful defensively.
gc_smfc
Honestly what youngsters are we going to be blooding? Only recently have Scottish clubs been receiving plaudits for bringing through young players and nearly all of them are no where near middle level of the top leagues. Progress of our game is going to be a generational product. Even with our general talent being behind our athleticism is awful. We should just except our role in the footballing wilderness for the foreseeable future and try and change from the roots up. If we play players for the sake of it, we might get lucky with one player actually looking reasonable, but it's doubtful we'll produce any standouts. BFTD
Wullie's right about the slipping. It's been like 'Hitler on Ice' out there. The French seem to have been fine, oddly enough.

Hammer Jag
Can't wait till Strachan gets sacked and to hear the same moans about the next manager in 3 year Who else could do a better job? He can only work with what he's got. It's France, what did you expect? We've not had the rub of the green. It's only a friendly. We've improved under Strachan. Which excuse(s) will it be from the forum's resident Strachan fanboy tonight? Place your bets please.

Scotland's problems are all about the quality of player we produce. You could have Mourinho in charge ffs. You've still got to pick from Hanley/Martin/Greer and Berra for centre half and Alan Hutton and Callum Patterson for RB.

Diamonds are Forever
I'm assuming/hoping it was the SFA's decision to prostitute ourselves for these two games and not Strachan's? Ridiculous fixtures to take on at this point.
